A visit of Shanghai Shipping Insurance Association to Hainan Shipowners Mutual Assurance Association

On January 29, 2026, Secretary-General Gu Jun of the Shanghai Shipping Insurance Association led a delegation to the Hainan Shipowners Mutual Assurance Association（HSM） for a research and exchange event.

Liang Kai, Chairman of the HSM, welcomed Secretary-General Gu Jun and the delegation from the Shanghai Shipping Insurance Association.

First, Secretary-General Gu Jun extended congratulations on the establishment of the HSM and expressed hope that it would grow and strengthen from the ground up. Chairman Liang Kai provided a detailed introduction to the association's founding background, organizational structure, membership composition, and development progress.

Secretary-General Gu Jun and Chairman Liang Kai held in-depth discussions on the association's functional positioning, development prospects, and other aspects, exploring future development directions. Additionally, both parties engaged in thorough exchanges and discussions on risk control, financial regulation, and other insurance technical aspects related to the development of shipping insurance business.

This exchange provided constructive guidance and experience for the association's next phase of work. In the future, under the leadership of the council and with the collaboration of all members, the association will translate the aforementioned consensus into concrete action plans, unite efforts, and jointly drive the HSM to new heights.
